Sarah Chittum
HIS
Sarah Chittum is a hearing instrument specialist. Sarah is originally from Lufkin, Texas, and moved to Galveston Area in 2014. Sarah became licensed as a repair technician when she began working at a private audiology clinic in 2002. As soon as her mentoring audiologist saw her passion for saving hearing lives and how she excelled in patient care, she received her licensing from the state of Texas as a hearing aid dispenser.
Sarah was drawn to the profession because not only did she enjoy repairing hearing aids and becoming the “hero of the day” for whomever needed to hear better that day, but she really loved the way a patient would light up when hearing again for the first time. She strives to show her patients compassion and love as she believes her patients are friends like family.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Sarah loves swimming, camping and relaxing to the sound of the waves at the beach. She also enjoys hiking to see beautiful waterfalls, seeing her flowers bloom and getting “loved on” by her border collie, Zeus.
